I know that you are not a Grinch-y sort of gen fan. Like me, you want people to enjoy their brand of squee, just so long as they don't insist on inflicting it on others. This is as it should be.

It's those individuals that insist that the world see everything exactly as they do that drive us reasonable folk nuts.

Especially when they move out of the its only fiction! area of fandom, and begin to apply that attitude in real life. Then it moves from the area of unpleasant and rather rude to downright dangerous!
