Jo Graham [jo_graham] is a professional writer who has written a wonderful original series (the Numinous World books comprising Black Ships, Hand of Isis, and Stealing Fire so far. Wonderful! Go buy them. Read them!). She is also, among other things, working on a series of Stargate Atlantis novels - the Legacy Series - for Fandemonium. There is a rumor going around Gateworld's groups that she is shipping John Sheppard and Sam Carter in these. This is not the case, and she has mentioned this three times in her lj, including here where she says "John and Sam are friends. Friends. Nothing else. And Sam is very, very taken." This seems like a pretty clear and unequivocal denial of the rumor. Obviously, she would like for people to have a fair and accurate idea of what they can and cannot expect from her books, and as she does not know where the rumor started, and it does seem to rearing its head like a particularly persistent Whack-a-Mole critter, I would like to help her spread the facts. I'm a Bryn Mawr College graduate. Bryn Mawr women are very smart and tend to be quirky individualists.
